Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT)

This engineered polymer is a thermoplastic polyester that due to its high molecular weight, strength, electrical insulation properties, rapid crystallization, easy molding, the ability to be reinforced with fiberglass fibers, good mechanical strength, low water absorption rate and resistance. In contrast to other engineering polymers, has found several application in the electronics, electronics, automotive and fiber optic industries. The polymer's products is used in in the electrical and electronics industries in engine combustion, headlights, windshield wipers, brakes, fuel storage tank, car bumper, etc. in the automotive industry, switches, relays, home electric motor body, fuse body, interfaces, telephone parts, two plugs, cable insulation, energy saving lamps etc. and also in home appliances such as irons, some toaster parts, vacuum cleaners and electric grinders, hair dryers, etc.
